XII or equivalent examination, with Mathematics & Statistics subject, securing a minimum of 45% aggregate (in case of an applicant from open category) and 40% in case of a candidate from Reserved Category. Or, has passed a Diploma in any Engineering branch of two or three years after SSC, conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education.
The candidate should have passed in one and same sitting.
The course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course shall be of six semester spread over three years.

Scheme of Examination:
The course will have six semesters conducted on the revised pattern using credit based semester system and grading pattern. Semester I, II, III & IV evaluation will be conducted by the college, whereas semester V & VI examination will be conducted by the university.
Each subject in all semester will be evaluated for 150 marks which are bifurcated as 75 marks written examination, 25 marks internal evaluation & 50 marks practical examination in which minimum of 30 marks in external, 10 marks in internal & 20 marks in practical exam are required to pass a subject.
